Two-Spirt Plays: Queer Indigenous Performances
Dr. Jean O'Hara is a lecturer for Critical Race, Gender and Sexuality Department and the Theatre Arts Department. she recently earned a PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies from York University. The primarily focus of her work is devised ensemble based theatre that addresses soci-political issues. Jean has been a collaborator with Klamath Theatre Project, Native earch Performing Arts, Centre for Indigenous Theatre, and the Alianait Festival. She has been directing and teaching theatre for past fifteen years and her research interest include Indigenous theatre and representation, and queer performances.
