Identification and Distribution of Benthic Communities in the Central Portion of Humboldt Bay, California

Under U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contract Number DACW07-75-0035, benthic invertebrate samples, sediment samples, and trawl samples were collected from North Bay, Samoa, and Eureka Channels during SeptemberNovember 1974. In December 1974 and January 1975 additional samples were collected from the Entrance Bay for analysis at the request of the Corps of Engineers. This area was investigated because of consideration as a potential dredging disposal site.
