Jentri Anders, PhD., now retired, was adjunct faculty at both College of the Redwoods, Eureka CA and Humboldt State University at various times in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, teaching anthropology and sociology. From 1997 to 2000, she was a journalist at various local northern California newspapers, including the Garberville Independent and the now-defunct Garberville Redwood Record. A longtime resident of Humboldt County, she currently maintains blogs relating to her appearance in the documentary film “Berkeley in the Sixties,” to the back-to-the-land movement in southern Humboldt County and to Lyme disease, a medical problem in Humboldt County.
