Description: "The students of Humboldt State University’s Advanced Oral Interpretation class proudly present “Outliers on Stage!” The performance will be an oral interpretation/reader’s theater of Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers: the Story of Success. The show begins at 7 pm on Friday April 26, 2013 and Saturday April 27, 2013 in the studio theater located on the second floor of the theater arts building on the HSU campus. “Outliers” is an examination of what truly makes people successful and how they differ from the rest of us. The show is entirely student run and free for the whole community. Doors will open 6:45 and seating is limited! There will be an open dress rehearsal on April 25 that is open to the public. Come by and watch the cast practice this unique, reader’s theater version of Outliers. The following two nights, Friday the 26 th and Saturday the 27th will be official performances. This creative interpretation of Outliers was scripted and will be performed by the students of the Advanced Oral Interpretation, Comm 480.
